Sample Autobiography

Sample Autpbiography of Raymart Paraiso a college Student

My beginning as a legally recognized individual occurred on October 9, 1991 in Cebu City Community Hospital, a hospital that still exists in the downtown Cebu City. Of course I can't consciously remember anything from the first two or three years of my life after birth. But facts are available as my parents, relatives and neighbors told me how I behave when i was a baby.

My father, originally named Rito Paraiso Jr., but called Junior, was a Marine Engineer and had come to Isabel Leyte to work as a company driver for PASAR a copper manufacturing company there till now. He was a Marine Engineer and consequently had not been in actual front lines of his course. He was originally from Garfield, Cebu City and had obtained his B.S. degree in marine engineering from the Univeristy of Cebu.

My mother, originally Maria Teresa Dasmariñas, but called Marites, was born in Palompon Leyte. She had studied at Matlang National High School and graduated High school with honors before her marriage. My mother is the constant breadwinner of the family.

My paternal twin elder brothers, Micheal Ryan and Reymond Rey, were born about four years ahead of me on May 13, 1988.

With the motivation to improve the kind of life that they lived, my parents together with my twin elder brothers went back to Cebu. My Father Junior took his first sail as a Marine engineer but only lasted for a year. He said life on the sea was so empty without his family.

I went to the standard schools in St. Therese Elementary School but also to a kindergarten before starting in the elementary school level. And my parents provided an encyclopedia, Compton's Encyclopedia, that I often read as a child. And also there were other books available from either our house or the house of the grandparents that were of educational value.

Banilad, a small barangay in the geographical location of Mandaue City, was not a community of scholars or of high technology. It was a center of ordinary people were father sit down and drink together, play "sabong" or "tong-its". While, mothers makes small business for the families survival. So, from the intellectual viewpoint, it offered the sort of challenge that one had to learn from the world's knowledge rather than from the knowledge of the immediate community.

By the time I was a student in high school I dreamt of becoming a teacher one day and be able to teach young ones good values. Thus, as soon as i graduated High School in Cabancalan National High School, I took the chance of applying for a Scholarship in the most wanted university, the University of San Carlos. With my continued pursuance, hard work and hope for a brighter future coupled my cousin's words of wisdom, I was able to gain my status now as a working student of the university.

I have enrolled as a Education student and will be specializing Special Education. I was first assigned in the AVR in our Main campus in P.del Rosario St. and since we moved to a new location in Hugan Consoloacion after the death of my grandfather to accompany our grandmother, I requested for a transfer of assignment and is now currently serving B-hall (AVR) in the Technological Center in Talamban, Cebu City.

Statistically, it would seem improbable that any student, at the age of 19, would be able through continued sacrifices and efforts, to add to my achievements. However I am still making the effort and it is conceivable that with the gap period of about 2 years of partially deluded thinking providing a sort of vacation my situation may be atypical. Thus I have hopes of being able to achieve something of value through my current studies or with any new ideas that come in the future to help my family and rise the style of living that we have now with God's grace and guidance.

SAMPLE RESIGNATION LETTER

A SAMPLE EDUCATOR'S RESIGNATION LETTER:
DATE

PRINCIPAL'S NAME
School Principal
SCHOOL NAME
SCHOOL ADDRESS

Dear Sir:

Good day!

I left my previous job seeking new and permanent home. And I did! It was in this school that I found security and happiness. Security not in salary. Happiness not just for a moment. But security and happiness because of my vocation to teach and impart my knowledge to others.

I came into this school with nothing but my fair capabilities as a political scientist and a sales person. You accepted me even without educational units. But now I will be leaving equipped with knowledge in lesson planning, classroom management, test making, TOS, teacher-student relationship and all those I have learned and earned from my mentors (ECY, FGS and co-teachers and staff). Thank you to the students who in one-way-or- another help me grow in this profession.

I would like to ask for your kind consideration for my faults and weaknesses. I believe I have given my best and that best is not enough. Thank you for the constructive criticisms. I have taken it positively for I know those are fertilizers for human development, personally and professionally.

I will be leaving this school full of gratefulness and knowledge effective 30 days after notice. I will be leaving for greater and greener fields. Hopefully, I will be back equipped with knowledge and skills fit to be a full pledge teacher after Taking my Masters Degree and minor education units (if you will still hire me by then) .

Thank you so much! God bless and More Power!!!

It has been a great pleasure serving LLCI and the studentry.

Respectfully yours,

Zelah Marie Dasmariñas-Gorres
